Colours and pigments are the expertise of Colux GmbH. We have many years of experience in trade and in the development and production of innovative colour products. Our products comply with RAL , CE and DIN regulations and are REACh compliant.
Our soluble dyes and effect pigments can be used to colour a wide range of paints and varnishes. Our customers include industrial manufacturers of paints and coatings as well as agents for colouring plastics, cleaning agents and chemical liquids based on water, solvents, oil or wax.

Dyes

SOLUBLE DYES AND MARKERS TAGGING

Property: soluble dyes azo dyes, solvent dyes, acid dyes, alkali dyes, direct dyes, reactive dyes, disperse dyes, metal complex dyes, optical brighteners, synthetic food dyes, organic and inorganic dyes.

Mineral oil and paraffins and other carbon-hydrogen compounds can be coloured with so-called fat-soluble and oil soluble dyes.

Optical brighteners and soluble dyes are used in almost all detergents and are supposed to be highly soluble in warm water but at the same time stable against alkaline conditions. 

Complementary to the range of fluorescent dyes then are the optical brighteners – which are intrinsically colourless and only fluoresce under UV light.

For applications as photoluminescent pigments, SrAl2O4 is doped with the rare earth elements europium and dysprosium. After activation, it glows for up to 10 hours.

Cadmium pigment yellow and light orange consist of stable compounds of cadmium and zinc sulphide, while the dark orange and red are based on the composition cadmium sulphoselenide. In both cases, barium sulphate may be present as an adjusting agent and alternatively explicitly excluded.

Effectpigments

PEARLESCENT PIGMENTS (MICA)

Property: pearlescent pigments, interference pigments effect

Pearlescent pigments colour change due to ageing! Mica is an inorganic mineral and can replace classic bronze pigments in rich gold and pale gold.

A black base is required for the metallic effect with interference pigments.

Mica Pearlescent Pigments have a high UV resistance with the chrome-free surface coating for use in automotive coatings, coil coatings, powder coatings and architectural coatings.
